The maintenance of
Weifang generator eddy current air filtration system mainly includes regular inspection and replacement of filter elements, cleaning of filter element surface dust, and prevention of filter element damage.
Firstly, the maintenance of the vortex air filtration system needs to be carried out regularly. After every 100-200 hours of operation, the coarse filter element should be removed and the dust inside each swirl tube and attached to the shell should be blown clean with compressed air (or air pump). For the main filter element and safety filter element, they can be removed after 100-200 hours of operation of the diesel engine. Gently tap their end faces to remove the dust attached to the surface of the filter element through vibration, or use a soft brush to brush back and forth at the folds of each filter element, and then use compressed air (pressure ≤ 0.5MPa) to blow outwards from the filter element to remove the dust on the filter element.
Secondly, during the maintenance process, the following points need to be noted:
1. Prevent filter damage: When the filter paper is damaged or perforated, the filter should be replaced in a timely manner. If there are no spare parts for the filter element, individual damaged parts can be temporarily sealed with tape or paper.
2. Pay attention to sealing during installation: When installing the filter element and safety filter element, the end faces at both ends must be sealed reliably and there must be no air leakage.
3. Avoid cleaning the filter element: It is strictly prohibited to clean the filter element or let it come into contact with liquids such as oil and water; If engine oil, water, and other liquids adhere to the surface of the filter element, the performance of the diesel engine will deteriorate and the power will be insufficient. If the performance of the filter element cannot be improved or damaged after cleaning, a new filter element should be replaced.
Finally, the purpose of maintaining the vortex air filtration system is to ensure the normal operation of the generator and extend its service life. By regularly inspecting and replacing the filter element, impurities and particulate matter can be prevented from entering the engine interior, causing wear and failure, thereby ensuring the stable performance and operation of the generator.
