(1) Before lifting, remove the wires, cables, and various component pipe openings connected to the diesel generator set, and tightly seal each pipe opening.
(2) Before lifting, the selected steel wire rope and lifting equipment must be sufficient to withstand the weight of the diesel generator set. The steel wire rope should be hung at the lifting suspension points at both ends of the chassis, and its length should be appropriate. The lifting hook of the lifting equipment should be higher than the plane of the exhaust pipe by more than 1 meter to keep the steel wire rope from directly contacting the unit parts.
(3) During transportation, special attention should be paid to protecting the control panel of the diesel generator set to prevent damage to the instruments.
To avoid damage to the diesel generator set during transportation, a simple transportation plan should be developed. After the transportation is completed, pay attention to the condition of the equipment and check for any damage in order to repair it in a timely manner and restore the equipment to its optimal state.
